This season, we invite you to a total of ten Monday discussions at the Restaurant Belcanto: in a relaxed atmosphere with a glass of wine you will be able not only to meet singers. Director Andreas Homoki, General Music Director Fabio Luisi, Ballet Director Christian Spuck, as well as Opera Director Sophie de Lint and Study Manager Michael Richter will also be providing insights into their work.
On six Sundays this season, Ballet Director Christian Spuck and Michael Küster will present renowned choreographers, audience favourites of Zurich Ballet, and talented young hopefuls at the Ballet Discussions. They will also focus on fascinating topics from the world of dance against the background of the current ballet programme.
We offer introductory matinees to every new production: during discussions with representatives of the Dramaturgy department, conductors, directors, set and costume designers will explain their view of the works. On a Sunday morning two weeks before the première, (one week in the case of ballet), you will thus receive direct insights into the special features of the production in question.
