Opera – free open-air screening
opera for all is an annual live screening from the Opera House and will transform the Sechseläutenplatz into an open-air theatre. Viewers on the square will be able to watch an opera broadcast live from the auditorium on an 85 m² LED screen. After a successful start with approximately 10'000 visitors in 2014, Opernaus Zürich and Zurich Insurances invite to this season's opera for all: Both opera aficionados and novices are invited, together with their friends and families, to pack their folding chairs, blankets and picnic baskets – or savour the delicacies on offer, and to experience an open-air opera performance in the setting of a summer festival.
opera for all is made possible with the support of Zurich Insurance, which is also committed to promoting children’s opera at Zurich Opera House.
