Opera – free open-air screening

Under the motto opera for all, Zurich Opera House is to broadcast one big-screen performance each year, transforming Sechseläutenplatz into an open-air theatre. After a successful launch with approximately 10,000 visitors in the summer of 2014, Zurich Opera House and Zurich Insurance now invite you to enjoy one opera each year free of charge: come with your friends and family, bring folding chairs, blankets and a picnic, or savour the delicacies offered on site. We also provide comfortable folding chairs on the square at the cost price of CHF 15. All are welcome to experience an opera performance in a festive summer atmosphere at the heart of the city. Opera for all is a Zurich Festival event.
