Through our education work, we aim to inspire people of all ages with a passion for opera and ballet. We open doors behind the scenes, offer insights into the creation of opera and ballet productions and make artistic processes tangible. Above all, however, we invite people to get actively involved themselves: to immerse themselves in the world of music theatre and experience it first-hand.
Our workshops with a direct practical focus prepare school students specifically for their performance visit. In weekend and holiday courses, people of all generations take on stage roles themselves and experience opera up close. In year-long projects, young people develop their own stage works – and in performances for children, too, the audience becomes part of the action.
In this way, we break down barriers, spark curiosity, foster creativity and encourage engagement with art and social issues.
