The honour will be presented on 7 November at the Zurich Opera House by the Italian Ambassador to Switzerland, H.E. Luca Sabbatucci.
General Music Director Gianandrea Noseda is being honoured with one of the highest distinctions of the Italian Republic: he will be awarded the rank of Grand Officer (Grand'Ufficiale) of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. The official presentation will take place on 7 November in the Spiegelsaal of the Zurich Opera House, following the 2nd Philharmonic Concert. The award will be presented to him personally by the Italian Ambassador to Switzerland, H.E. Luca Sabbatucci.
With this honour, the Italian Republic recognises Gianandrea Noseda’s outstanding artistic achievements and his significant contribution to the international music world.
