«Beziehungszauber»: this was the name Thomas Mann gave the magical relationship that existed in the dense network of leitmotifs that Richard Wagner spanned across all four evenings of his magnum opus Der Ring des Nibelungen. On this evening, we want to trace this extremely complex network and its meaning on a musical as well as on a psychological-philosophical level.
