Abstract
"For Trained and Untrained Musicians" follows the radical ideas of John Cage and Cornelius Cardew and understands music-making as a collective, de-hierarchised process. Professionals and amateurs meet on equal footing – the result is a vibrant musical experiment.
The Ensemble Opera Nova, consisting of members of the Orchestra of the Zurich Opera House, is devoted to the music of the present day and of the twentieth century, as well as to innovative concert formats.
