With "Opernhaus im Quartier" in the former Kino Sternen in Zurich-Oerlikon, a unique venue is being created for music theatre, concerts, educational formats and digital art for all age groups – a vibrant space that opens up new ways of experiencing opera. The programme begins with "Werckmeister Harmonien" by Thom Luz in April 2027. In this music theatre work, five piano tuners search for order amid the chaos of the world, with texts by Andreas Werckmeister and music ranging from Heinrich Schütz to Charles Ives.
