A Night at the Opera

"A Night at the Opera" is the new charity event supporting the development of young talent at the Zurich Opera House. For one night, the opera house transforms into a glamorous setting for artistic highlights, dance, fine dining, and inspiring encounters.
From 5 PM, the red carpet will be rolled out, and guests will be warmly welcomed with a sparkling glass of champagne. After toasting with old and new acquaintances, a special guest performance from the Widder Restaurant awaits: the multiple award-winning chef Stefan Heilemann will take you on a culinary journey with a three-course menu beneath the chandeliers. And, in keeping with the evening’s theme, a top-tier artistic program featuring opera and ballet will be presented. The evening also offers a unique platform to highlight outstanding engagement in shaping the future of opera, ballet, and concert, as well as the societal relevance of culture.
After the gala dinner, the stage belongs to you and the live band well into the night. Those wishing to continue conversations or enjoy quieter music are invited to conclude the sparkling evening in the Lounge at the Spiegelsaal, where cocktails are served at the open bar.
A silent auction also offers the chance to bid on lasting memories of this glamorous night. All proceeds go to the Zurich Opera House’s outreach programs, supporting the development of young talents and helping to make opera, ballet, and concert accessible to the audiences of tomorrow.
