Les Oiseaux Enchantés is a young recorder consort founded at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). For over a year, the musicians Juana Fernandez, Madeleine Fiedeldeij, and Élodie Charpié have shared a common passion for Renaissance music. In addition to their engagement with early music, the ensemble is also interested in new concert formats and questions traditional concert practices. Les Oiseaux Enchantés spend a great deal of time discovering new repertoire and working together with manuscripts or facsimiles.

Every year the Department of Music at Zurich University of the Arts will hold an internal ensemble competition for historical instruments and singing in the field of historical performance practice.
