Abstract

He has one of the most beautiful tenor voices of our time, is charismatic and extremely multi-faceted: Juan Diego Flórez not only delights his audiences on the opera stage (currently as Offenbach's Hoffmann at the Royal Opera House London), he also regularly performs a broad concert repertoire ranging from bel canto to zarzuela and Latin American hits. The recital with which the Peruvian star tenor will be performing at Opernhaus Zürich in December promises to be just as varied. He will be accompanied by his long-standing piano partner Vincenzo Scalera.
