This programme is aimed at anyone who has always wanted to discover their own voice in a fun and pressure-free environment, explore their acting abilities and venture onto new creative paths. We experiment with the voice and take playful excursions into different musical periods and genres. Through theatrical improvisation, we create short scenes and explore both the comedy and tragedy of human relationships. We also attend rehearsals at the Zurich Opera House or visit performances together.

Please note:
open space stimme only takes place on the dates listed in the online calendar. We recommend checking the calendar regularly, as sessions cancelled at short notice will be removed from the schedule.

There are no open space stimme sessions during the City of Zurich school holidays, on public holidays or during the Zurich Opera House summer break. The programme resumes each year after the season-opening festival in mid-September.

Who is open space stimme for?
open space stimme is open to participants aged 16 and over.

How much does open space stimme cost?
Admission is free!

Do I have to register?
Registration is not necessary.

Can I simply turn up?
open space stimme is not a continuative course. Interested people can join at any time.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes. There are no dressing rooms or showers.

How good do I have to be at singing?
No previous musical experience is necessary.
