21. March 2026
From this season onwards, audiences will have the opportunity to experience the creation of a new production live. One week before the premiere, the preview of "Scylla et Glaucus" on Saturday morning offers an exclusive first insight into the rehearsal process. During a visit to the stage–orchestra rehearsal, you will experience excerpts from Jean-Marie Leclair’s opera directly on the stage of the Zurich Opera House.
Afterwards, visitors move to the Bernhard Theater where, following a short break with coffee and cake, a discussion about the production takes place. Roman Reeger speaks with Emmanuelle Haïm and Claus Guth about the creation of the staging and about the work on this rarely performed Baroque opera.
The meeting point is at the box office of the Zurich Opera House; the cloakroom is located at the Bernhard Theater.
Please understand that, due to production requirements, short-notice changes to the schedule may occur.
