Schlafen auf der Bühne

After the night programme, nothing stands in the way of a few hours’ sleep on stage, as numerous beds from the sets of various theatre productions will be ready. Those who bring a sleeping bag or blanket will, for the very first time, be able to spend the night directly on the main stage of the opera house – the very place usually home to singers, dancers, and the orchestra.

At the same time, choreographer and dancer Lucas Valente will present in the Mirror Hall the six-hour dance performance “The Thing I Can’t Stop Doing” to a live DJ set. The piece begins at midnight and ends at daylight (Mirror Hall, 12:00–6:00 a.m.). The bar will remain open throughout for night owls.

After coffee and croissants (from 6:00 a.m.), the day can begin with a joint yoga session (from 7:30 a.m.).
