In fall 2026, this performance location in Zurich-Oerlikon will open as a new place for mediation, laboratory productions, digital and participatory projects, and much more. «Oper im Quartier» is set to become a constantly evolving place of cultural participation. As a «pre-opening», the music theater creation «Werckmeister-Harmonien» by director Thom Luz will be shown in the converted former «Kino Sternen» in June 2026.
