Opernhaus für alle

For the first time, the Opernhaus Zürich presents the popular open-air «oper für alle» format on three consecutive days. For an entire weekend in June, audiences can enjoy live broadcasts of an opera and ballet performance, as well as an open-air concert with the Orchester der Oper, on the Sechseläutenplatz. In addition to a varied supporting program each evening, the newly created Kinderopernorchester will also perform in this setting.

The 2025/26 season features two new productions: Cathy Marston's ballet «Romeo and Juliet» and Richard Wagner's opera «Tannhäuser» in a production by director Thorleifur Örn Arnasson. Gianandrea Noseda will conduct the Zurich Opera Orchestra in a grand open-air concert, where tenor Benjamin Bernheim will perform as a soloist.
