European Tour 2026

In March 2026, the Orchestra and Chorus of the Zurich Opera House will embark on a European tour. Under the direction of General Music Director Gianandrea Noseda, they will perform together with the soloists Marina Rebeka, Regula Mühlemann, Agnieszka Rehlis, Joseph Calleja, and David Leigh in Aix-en-Provence, Dijon, Hamburg, Luxembourg, Munich, Paris, and Vienna. The tour features two distinct programmes. In six performances, Giuseppe Verdi’s monumental “Messa da Requiem” will be presented. In addition, two guest appearances will feature a second programme, previously heard as part of the Sixth Philharmonic Concert in Zurich ahead of the tour. This programme combines sacred arias by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with Sergei Prokofiev’s “Romeo and Juliet” Suite.
