Mescolare - Dinner mit Musik

Dinner mit Musik

From 21. October 2019 until 15. June 2020

Mescolare, mix.

In our new series, we mix art with culinary delights, tradition with modernity and the known with the unknown. In astounding, stimulating and enjoyable evenings, the young artists of the International Opera Studio and the Orchestra Academy of the Philharmonia Zurich present themselves in an informal, intimate setting. Between the musical blocks, René Hostettler, chef at Restaurant Belcanto, will take up the theme of the evening with culinary delights in a specially created 3-course menu. Mescolare invites you to discover, marvel and laugh.

We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant Belcanto.

The singers will introduce themselves at a concert gala on Monday 8 July 2019.

Orchestra Academy

Über uns

The students are actively involved in the day-to-day work of the Philharmonia Zurich, prepare the pieces they are to perform under the instruction of their mentors (first-chair players and soloists from the Orchestra), are given specialist training for auditions, as well as the opportunity to play chamber music in the widest variety of combinations. Many former members of the Academy have already made the transition to excellent orchestras.
