European Tour 2026

In March 2026, the Orchestra and Chorus of the Zurich Opera House will embark on a European tour. With the soloists Marina Rebeka, Regula Mühlemann, Agnieszka Rehlis, Joseph Calleja and Alexander Vinogradov, they will perform in Aix-en-Provence, Dijon, Hamburg, Luxembourg, Munich, Paris and Vienna.

Open-air on three days: On an entire weekend in June 2026, spectators can enjoy live broadcasts of an opera and ballet performance as well as an open-air concert with the Zurich Opera Orchestra on Sechseläutenplatz.

Youth Architecture Competition

And the winners are… Between the opera house and the lake, a new building is taking shape: over 700 children and young people have imagined an open, vibrant space for coming together in a youth architecture competition. More than 350 creative projects showcase just how bold, diverse, and inspiring young ideas can shape the city of tomorrow – and now, the winners have been announced. And the Audience Award winners? Have your say: online voting is open until April 1.
