Open-air on three days: On an entire weekend in June 2026, spectators can enjoy live broadcasts of an opera and ballet performance as well as an open-air concert with the Zurich Opera Orchestra on Sechseläutenplatz.

Children's Opera Orchestra

The newly founded Children’s Opera Orchestra brings together young musicians from across the Canton of Zurich: in collaboration with 36 music schools and the Zurich Opera House, children aged 7 to 14 develop their musical skills, experience ensemble playing and perform on the main stage.

With the “Nachhall” lecture series, the Kunsthaus Zürich and the Zurich Opera House jointly invite you to an in-depth exploration of the theme of transience in art and music. Barbara Bleisch speaks with fascinating individuals from the worlds of culture, academia, philosophy, and society about finitude, hope, and change—about what passes and what remains.
